Summer is fun, but this season is probably my favorite time of year on Chatuge. Warm days, nights that are perfect for campfires and sleeping with the windows cracked, and mornings that are amazing for a flannel and hot coffee on the porch. Add in off-peak rates, and you can't beat it!

With limited time between guests this summer, we are still improving with an eye towards making our guests'experience as great as they hope it will be.

The last 2 days we knocked out 2 coats of paint on our dock, one coat on our stairs, and built a fence to make the back of the tiny house a little more visually appealing. An added benefit is the fence will provide a sunny spot to dry towels!

The paint we used is designed to be less slippery, and to help prevent splinters from the dock wood. We've used it in other places in the past and love it!
