Fort Hays State University - Encore Series is gearing up to welcome the Peking Acrobats featuring Shanghai Circus! They will be performing at Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center Monday, February 13 at 7:30 PM.

Kansas Shrine Bowl officials will announce a new presenting partnership and kick off the planning of the 50th Kansas Shrine Bowl, which will be hosted in Hays. The date of this press event was chosen to coincide with a national television event, produced by Disney, celebrating 100 years of Shriners Hospitals for Children, now known as Shriners Children's!
This the first day of event planning that will culminate in what organizers hope to be the largest and most successful Kansas Shrine Bowl in history.
Thunder on the Plains Events September 2022
The Thunder on the Plains Cruise Night will begin at 6 PM on Friday, September 16 on the North side of the Hays Welcome Center! Their FREE Car, Truck, & Cycle Show will be at Elite Realty Land and Auction on Saturday, September 17 from 8 AM โ 2:30 PM! Volunteer Shelby Doty joins Hays CVB Director Melissa Dixon to discuss the details of this weekend's event.

Hays Back to School Picnic 2022 Welcome
Weโre super excited to welcome students from Fort Hays State University, North Central Kansas Technical College, and Hays Academy of Hair Design - Hays Campus back to Hays again this year! The Annual Hays Back to School Picnic will be this Monday, August 22 from 4:30 โ 6:30 PM in the quad on the beautiful FHSU campus. There will be tons of great giveaways and we're honored to provide a meal to the first 500 students. We'll see you at the Hays CVB tent! Itโs going to be a great time in Hays!
New ARC Park Splash Pad Restrooms!
A new restroom was lowered onto the reserved space next to the ARC Park Splash Pad today! This new facility will not open until sidewalks and entry areas are poured. An estimated open date has not yet been set.
Great American Kites in Hays!
The Hays Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to be the sponsor of the โGreat American Kitesโ event on Saturday, July 2 from 11 AM โ 5 PM at Bickle/Schmidt Sports Complex! This FREE family-friendly event will feature spectacular kite displays with some of the worldโs largest kites. This one-day outdoor event will feature mega-kite showcases, power kite displays, stunt kites, and one of the largest spinning windsocks in the world! There will also be a unique area for children's activities, games, and much more. This show guarantees visitors an unforgettable experience and will be a great addition to your Wild West Festival weekend in Hays!
