The Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the 2024 Independence Day Celebration on July 6 at the Jeff Davis County Fairgrounds. Gates open to the public at 4:00 P.M. with Fireworks around 9:30/9:40 that evening. Entertainment will include live musical performances beginning at 8 P.M., a short program commemorating Independence Day, free watermelon sponsored by the Bank of Hazlehurst, a live DJ throughout the event, and, of course, our firework display sponsored by the Jeff Davis County Commission. Food trucks and vendors will also be on site for your entertainment. There is also still time for vendors to join, please email big.house@jeffdavishazlehurst for an application or call 912-380-1006.

Nearby parking will be available at Interstate Credit Union and Railroad Street parking lots. WIFI will be available for devices without data so we can all cast our final votes! Food vendors will be set up by 6:30.

Producers of American Idol have contacted JDH and the City of Hazlehurst about hosting a parade and a FREE concert featuring Will Moseley on May 14th. The parade and concert are contingent upon Will making the Top 3 next Sunday night, so VOTE, VOTE, VOTE to bring "Big Mo" back to play at the Pinelands one more time.
