The bulk of our experience has been in residential, mixed-use, multifamily, commercial office, and retail project types. After working for a number of Los Angeles design and architecture firms including Gensler, Studios Architects, and Cannon Design I decided to start my own design practice GO design in 2005. Since then we have developed a primarily commercial retail oriented practice while enteri
ng a number of design competitions (residential, K-12 education, and mixed-use multifamily projects) to feed our thirst for research as well as attract other market sectors to our project mix. In 2009 we were engaged by a developer from in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to study how she might redevelop a typical downtown lot into a flexible adaptable building able to respond to changing local economic conditions. Our work was also presented in 2010 at "Create Fixate" in Los Angeles after our we were short listed the same year for our work on a design competition for "The Classroom of The Future" sponsored by Architecture for Humanity. Our work for this competition also went on a tour through a number U.S. We are currently working on a number of solutions for modular prefabricate housing prototypes, organizing an international urban design competition with a number of dedicated and committed residents of the City of Sebastopol, California, and various small residential projects.
