• Historic Christ Church & Museum in Weems offers "A Variety of Religious Experiences: Natives, Africans and Europeans in Early Virginia"
• Lancaster VA Historical Society on May 13 (online): Black Voices: Memories of Men at Work in the lower Northern Neck in the mid-1900s.
• Menokin: Re-Imagining A Ruin has a virtual series with registration here for B(l)ack on a Plantation, a panel discussion/roundtable between Black people who are connected to plantations and how it affects them, led by education research assistant Pia Spinner.
• Stratford Hall is introducing “Science Saturday”, a virtual program via Zoom. Stratford Hall’s 120-foot cliffs are a geological phenomenon that have yielded treasures from the earth dating back 17 million years. The program on May 8 “The Mystery of Sharks” is for all ages.
• For hands-on, in-person traditional arts classes, Heritage Arts Center/Rice's Hotel/Hughlett's Tavern is offering Blacksmithing, Weaving, Basket-Weaving, and Wood-turning classes.
