Buckle up for some eye-opening revelations that I'd like to share now that I'm on the other side and cruising as a travel advisor and industry insider versus an ocean-loving explorer like you.
1️⃣ Booking the cruise line's excursions isn't always the best option. Sometimes it's nice to skip the crowds and the group tours in favor of a private one booked through a tour operator in the destination.
I give my clients the inside scoop so they know which stops and which tours are best explored in a group with the cruise's tour operator, or privately on your own.
2️⃣ Booking online is a rookie mistake. You may be missing out on crucial advice, insights, and value that I have access to as a travel advisor. We're talking on-board credits, cabin upgrades, and special surprises waiting in your cabin on arrival.
3️⃣ You ABSOLUTELY want someone in your corner if things go wrong. When they do, travel advisors like me can often help rectify a disastrous situation faster than you may be able to.
