Charlotte is doing well. Due to our work schedules, I wasn't able to get to The Hartford Independent Fair as often as I had in years past. We were there on the last night just before closing. Drew wanted a picture of the ferris wheel, so we walked to the front gate, close to the main road. There was Charlotte, watching over the fair.

Ready, not ready, to head home from Day 2.....they had so much fun. Here is what they have completed so far: a Halter, Needle Felt Art Work, made Yarn from raw fiber, then dyed it and a Llama Loofah.

We were fortunate to have the chance to catch up with Judge Robert Hoover who retired from the bench in January of 2021. Judge Hoover was instrumental in getting the 4-H CARTEENS Program started in Licking County and has been a huge supporter of CARTEENS and 4-H in general for many years. He is keeping very busy in retirement and we are so grateful that he continues to support the Licking County 4-H Program.

Livestock Quality Assurance trainings to get underway on April 5 for Hartford Fair 4-H / FFA exhibitors... Online registration required!

To sign-up for one of the online trainings offered in Licking County, simply go to https://go.osu.edu/QASignUp2022, and complete the registration form, at which time you’ll choose your preferred session. Please notice that all sessions are species-specific.

Make your selection carefully… Sessions will fill to a capacity of 65 families on a first-come, first-served basis. You’ll receive an email confirmation right away (within 2-3 minutes), then the zoom link and handouts will come approximately 24 hours in advance of your training. If you DON’T RECEIVE THE CONFIRMATION, check your spam / junk email folder first – it may be there! If not there either, you can reach out to Lisa ([email protected]) right away, as you likely typed your email address incorrectly.
