Come join a small group of 12 for a week in Southern Oregon's Rogue River Wilderness May 26th- June 2, 2020! Imagine rafting and walking the trail of a pristine river that was the 3rd river in the US designated wild and scenic! The Rogue is one of the most dramatic white water rivers in the United States, going from placid to Class IV rapids! Imagine staying in lodges that were uses by the gold rush miners in the early 1900s and are on the National Historic Registry! Imagine being in a place that is so protected and pristine that in the entire 45 miles there are only 125 people a day permitted as hikers/rafters or anglers! This will be our 7th trip and in all that time we found only one cigarette butt on the forest floor! Imagine being able to walk the trail and look down at those on the raft or being on the raft and look up at those on the trail! Two entirely different views of a spectacular river and trail! You can do both of these, or one of the other! Imagine carrying only a day pack with water as wonderful guides carry the rest of your clothes on the rafts! And the days off the river, at the beginning and at the end, are spent at a wonderful lodge that was a fishing lodge for the past 40 years and now it the center for all of this. Here we will have lovely 4 course dinners and great buffet breakfasts. And on the 3.5 days on the river/trail we have super hearty meals as well as picnic lunches on the river beaches! Hard to believe that one can be so deep in the forest that there are no cell phones or electricity but the lodges do have generators and the guides have satellite phones for emergencies. You do not have to worry about getting from the airport at Medford to Morrisons as we will have a noon pickup on the day of arrival and on the day of departure we have a van to take us back to the airport. And the bonus is that we spend our last day in Oregon at the spectacular Crater Lake, a lake in a volcano that is the deepest body of water in the country and the second deepest in the western hemisphere Join us for one of the few spots still open on this trip. The price for all accommodations, all meals with the exception of lunch on arrival and lunch at Crater Lake, all transport, expert guides, and the chance to see wildlife in this river corridor such as beaver, deer, elk, bald eagles, osprey, mallards, cougars and black bear is $2578.55 which is divided into two payments of $1289.27. One is due the end of October and the other is due the end of March, 2020. Spaces are limited and all rooms are twin rooms, no singles. COME EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTY AND EXCITEMENT OF DOING THIS!
