Bulk Head repair complete. Now we have to wait for the water to go down to finish the other pole replacement and remove the wind block wall and rebuild it.
We can not thank Jonathon Waldrep and crew enough. It looks so good. Now to order some rock to finish it up and put all the wiring back in place. It’s going to be a long few days for Todd Dutton

As of November the lodge will be closing for repairs to our bulk head between the wooden and floating dock. We will remain closed until New Years.

Anyone in the Hemphill or surrounding areas have something for rent to a disabled mother and son. We are letting them stay here a few days to rest as they continue to look.
They aren’t looking for luxury. They just want a roof over their head.

Toledo Bend Dream

We are Todd and Melissa Dutton. Currently residents of South Louisiana. Todd originally is a mid-westerner from Nebraska. Melissa born and raised in South Louisiana. Todd is a lifetime oil field worker in the commercial diving industry. Being injured in 2007 a change had to be made and even though he continues in this industry, he can longer dive himself. That didn’t change his love for the water. Every chance we get we are in our boat and on the waters of South Louisiana as well as Toledo Bend.

Our dream was to retire to Toledo Bend. As we considered options on how to make this happen we decided why should we wait for retirement. What could we do now to help us achieve our dream. Would chance would have it my husband was looking around on line and came across this listing for Fox’s Lodge. Within days we knew we wanted to see it in person. At first glance we knew. This was our dream. This is how we live at Toledo Bend before retiring. Purchase a business you love and work and play at the same time.

Our dream comes true May 10,2019. We should be fully operational by May 13,2019 as we already have reservations.

We can’t wait to be a part of the Hemphill Comunity. We look forward to meeting all the fantastic regular customers as well as all the new ones we hope to meet along our new journey.
