After trying to tough it out for a couple of hours in the trench fighting 20 mph winds from the south and crabbing the whole time. Only having a brown to show. We moved to calmer waters and were rewarded with a couple walleye, pike, and bass! Way to hang in there today guys! It wasn’t the easiest fishing day! Hopefully any day now the mother load of salmon will be out the front door! Have some great dates available thru the end of September! Let us know if you’re interested!

Been getting allot of calls and messages lately about how long we can chase salmon on the big lake. We will chase them all the way to end of September! Just have to head to the mouth of the rivers. It can be fun and exciting fishing. The nice thing about this time a year is walleye, northerns and bass are usually right next to them so if you have to switch gears it’s just an easy switch over of rods! Give us a call or message if you would like to try this late season fishery!

With the northeast winds the last couple of days we have decided to stay close to shore and been rewarded with good catches of browns with lakers and smaller kings mixed in! Mark and gang have fished with us sense the beginning and really are a blast to fish with! Lots of banter with these guys! Thank you guys! It’s gunna be interesting to see what the lake looks like after the weekend! Staging kings are gunna be here before ya know it!

We got out this morning for a couple hours to try to catch a derby brown. Only fished till 10:00 and ended up with 10 browns and 1 small salmon. Nothing big enough for the leaderboard but was fast action. Get up and get in on the action! Have some dates to fill the next couple weeks!

What a unicorn!!! The kids are putting the work to them this morning!
