All books are hand-cleaned prior to shelving and with over 45,000 books inventoried in our own local warehouse, it could be hard for you to leave empty handed. 'Twas the night before Season's Readings! Only one more sleep until Copper Cat Books welcomes the Sin City Writer's Group , with Sip Coffee Cafe joining the festivities on Sunday!

It's the giving season and what better gift to give than the gift of reading -- with books from the many talented writers within our own community! Come by tomorrow from 12-4PM to meet authors from the Sin City Writers' Group and sneak a peek at the menu for Sip Coffee Cafe before you swing back around on Sunday from 12-4PM to meet even MORE authors as you enjoy their delicious snacks and drinks.
Between the wide variety of genres for adults and young adults from authors of the Sin City Writer's Group and the variety of tasty goodies from Sip Coffee Cafe, this is sure to be a fun weekend at "The Cat" for everyone! We can't wait to see everyone there!

There was a local politician who was an assembly woman and county commissioner. She passed a few years back and we ended up with some pretty cool autographs she obtained over the years. Many are sports figures; a few politicians....

I'm going to list some. They are all in a 3-ring binder and we have put very conservative values on them. We would do a great deal if somebody is interested in the whole lot (I would guess 50 or so signatures)...but we will sell them individually.

Some are signed on hotel stationary, napkins and other "not-typical" signing media...but; here is a partial list:

I'm just a little confused. Facebook shows that in 82% of our reviews we are recommended but when I view them, 100% are recommended....so not sure why it shows lower!!! Does anybody know why it would do that?

The Bond Girl books, one containing the signatures of all the Bonds (except Niven) and the other is a real unique piece gathering various signatures from Bond girls across cinematic history. Angels is another unique item, containing all but three of the Victoria Secret's Angels signatures.

Here is a super significant signature: Martin Luther King, Jr. This book was released in 1963. We are researching and valuing; but as with other books, we are willing to present any reasonable offer to the owner of these books. If you look this one up; probably a good idea to be sitting as OMG...what we found is a bit stratospheric!

.....a little for the music lover: the BEATLES signed by Paul McCartney and Wonderful Tonight signed by Pattie Boyd and Eric Clapton. (She was originally married to George Harrison....) We have successfully made it through two years of new used books store owner challenges!!

So much goes on at our little shop; book club, author book signings...we even had a special Jane Austen costume event. Send us your fun book store ideas for consideration.

Check our website for some of the “other books” we have in our warehouse (not the same as what we have in-store). Go to www.coppercatbooks.com and select “our books”, then scroll down till you see “partial listing”...(or something like that). Click on that link, but do NOT print...almost 1000 pages. Then, it is a SUPER basic search “Control F” and put your search in. If you find something you might want...just call or drop us an email and we will pull from the warehouse, let you know when we have the book(s) in the store and you can come take a look and decide if you want to purchase.

We also have “Wendy’s Wish List”....if we don’t have the book in the store or warehouse and it something you really want, Wendy goes hunting for it. We do take a down payment on wish list items because there can be a lot of time “hunting” and some books are kind of pricey.
