The FHU Associates’ Christmas Tea is just days away! 🎄☕️❤️ One of our festive scone selections is pictured below: the Cranberry Scone with Orange Glaze. To celebrate the holiday season, the FHU Associates invite you to have Cream Tea (a hot beverage and two homemade scones with spreads) at the Hardeman House on Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2024, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. ☕️🎄❤️ {By reservation only}

To enhance the Christmas mood, we'll also have Christmas carols in the music room, photos at our beautiful Christmas tree, and a selection of Christmas gifts for your shopping pleasure. 🎶❤️🎄🎁🥰

Hello, Tea Party friends! We know you love this event as much as we do, and we want to ask you for help with an exciting project to expand the Hardeman House property. (!!) This will make it even more beautiful and functional for many events, including our Tea Party. ☕️👒💕🌸🍽️

Throughout the year, the FHU Associates rent out the Hardeman House property for small events - bridal or baby showers, graduation parties, weddings, and many other celebrations. These rentals, along with your Tea Party sponsorship, support Christian education at FHU by raising funds for student scholarships.

Tea partiers - good news!! 🎉 The Associates have a table set up at the Golden Year Reunion on campus today & tomorrow (Thursday & Friday) YES, there is tea available for purchase! And YES, there is more MAPLE CREAM tea packed & ready for you! 😉☕️🍁

We also have Yorkshire Harrogate (in the small blue tins as well), Miss Jo's Jasmine, Peach Apricot White, Tropical Tango iced tea, and Springberry iced tea. All loose leaf tea is $8.00 - and we have strainers & paper filters available as well. 💕

Debbie Johns McLaughlin will be at the FHU Library (the ARC) near the Cason Street entrance until 6:30pm today (Thursday, June 13) and 7:30-11:00am tomorrow (Friday). Card payment preferred.

We were thrilled that God blessed us with a beautiful breezy afternoon for this year's tea party! THANK YOU for your patience as those morning thunderstorms caused a delay in setting up and all the subsequent teatime seatings. But it certainly ended up to be a beautiful day. 🙏💗🫖

If you liked our Roast Beef & Radish sandwiches, you don't have to wait until tea time to have them again. I've made a version of them for my own lunch so many times recently! 😉 Here are a few tips:

*We used a marbled rye bread for the tea party, which is a pumpernickel & rye swirl. But you can use either pumpernickel or rye (I've been using rye at home) or another favorite bread.
*I made mine dairy-free by spreading Duke's mayo on the bread and then adding a sprinkle of chives & dill. So easy & delish!
*I also added arugula and it was a great addition. 😄
*I've also made this with garlic & herb (deli) chicken, with yummy results.
*Cut your sandwich into fourths and serve it on a pretty plate for some tea party vibes. 😉

It's very-nearly-almost tea time! 🫖 The front doors are open and we hope to have the 12:00 reservations ready to be seated soon. 💗 A bit behind schedule, so bear with us - but friends...the rain has stopped and the SUN IS SHINING. ☀️😍🌸🙏 (Looks like some people have been praying! 😉)

Cheerio, tea party friends! Don't we have some perfectly British weather today? 😉☕️ Mr. McGregor's garden is getting a wonderful watering this morning, and Peter Rabbit is snug in his den, waiting to hop on out for tea with us this afternoon. 🐰

We are watching these storms closely and praying for it to pass on through, leaving us with a clear afternoon with plenty of hot tea to cozy us up. Because of the storms passing through at times when we need to set up the outside tea tables, we are looking at a probable rain delay (probably 30 minutes behind schedule). 🌧️

We are SO THANKFUL for all of our sweet helpers who love the tea party & our FHU students! 💗💗💗 We simply couldn’t make hundreds (well, thousands 😉) of yummy treats without our volunteer bakers & food preppers!
