Great news!
DuPont trail system is reopening tomorrow! We are once again able to offer horseback rides! Please reach out via PM or phone to book a ride!

Our waterfall ride will look a little different for a while, but we are excited to present a new ride option once we get some logistics worked out! Stay tuned for updates :)

Following weeks of recovery efforts, damage assessment and removal of storm debris in the wake of Hurricane Helene, DuPont State Recreational Forest (DSRF) will partially reopen Friday, Nov. 1, allowing visitors to enjoy limited recreational opportunities. Quick hurricane update!

All our horses, staff, and barns have survived Helene! Our area is still suffering tremendously without reliable access to power, cell service, internet, and especially fuel. Our beloved DuPont State Forest was ravaged by the storm, and will be fully closed until further notice.

We will temporarily be unable to offer any horseback rides until the forest is reopened and impacts of the storm subside. Will be sure to post any updates!

We apologize for any delay in communication, we will reply to you as soon as we are able!

We’ll have a few of our sweetest horses at the 2024 DuPont Forest Festival giving out free snuggles and pony rides!

A day of family fun! A few of our sweetest horses will be present giving out free snuggles and pony rides! All ages welcome!

The DuPont Forest Festival is a free celebration of the Forest and visitors who enjoy it,including kids! From 10am-3pm, check out events created especially for young adventurers:

11am: Story Time with Henderson County Public Library
11:30am: Kids’ MTB Obstacle Course (hosted by MTB Skills Factory)
11:30am: Bike Clinic for All Ages with Ripple Bikes - Mobile Bike Repair)
12pm: Meet Smokey Bear and celebrate his 80th birthday!
12:30pm: Kids’ Bike Clinic with Ripple Bikes
1pm: Kids’ MTB Obstacle Course (hosted by MTB Skills Factory)
1:30pm: Story Time with Henderson County Public Library
2pm: Smokey Bear
