Universal Epic Universe opens May 22, 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort! Select multi-day tickets and packages will go on sale October 22! Bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will also be made available.

Minimal damage in central Florida. Continuing to pray for all those affected by both Milton and Helene. ❤️🙏🏻

Pleased to report that both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando suffered very minimal damage and both will reopen their theme parks and resorts tomorrow October 11!

The weather for the next 10 days looks absolutely beautiful for the Fall Break vacations that are beginning to kick off!

Update to Disney World closures for the hurricane. I have Universal Studios update on closures posted in my story! Stay safe out there!

Walt Disney World has officially announced park closures due to Hurricane Milton this week :

On Wednesday October 9 Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will close at 1pm. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney Springs will close at 2pm.

Theme parks likely to remain closed on Thursday October 10. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on Thursday is canceled.

We hope everyone stays safe during this powerful storm.

Man! What a weekend of announcements from Disney at their D23 event! There are SO many new things coming to Disney parks around the world! Here’s a round up of some of the exciting things! What are you guys most excited about!?

🏰WALT DISNEY WORLD🏰
✨ Monsters, Inc Land coming to Hollywood Studios! This land will feature Disney's first suspended coaster and will take you through the Laugh Factory! Construction begins in 2025

✨ Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom. This will have 2 major attractions, dining and shopping!

✨ NEW Cars area is headed to Frontierland in Magic Kingdom! This area will have 2 Cars attractions and construction will begin early 2025

✨ Tropical Americas will be replacing the DinoLand USA at Animal Kingdom and will open in 2027! This land will feature a new Indiana Jones ride, an Encanto ride, and a beautiful carousel full of famous Disney animals!

✨ Two new lounges will open in 2025. These will be Spaceship Earth Lounge at EPCOT and a Pirates of the Caribbean themed tavern in Magic Kingdom

✨ "Zootopia: Better Zoogether" opens next winter and will be a brand new show at Animal Kingdom's Tree of Life Theater!

✨ "Disney Starlight" will be a brand new NIGHTTIME SHOW coming to Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025!

✨ The reimagined Test Track will reopen in EPCOT in 2025

✨ An Avatar themed land is coming to Disney California Adventure! This new land will draw inspiration from "Avatar: The Way of Water" and future Avatar films, like "Fire and Ash".

✨ Avengers Campus will be expanding, more like doubling, in size with TWO new attractions! One is called Avengers Infinity Defense and the other one is called Stark Flight Lab!

✨ The first ever Walt Disney Audio- Animatronic will open in 2025 inside the Main Street Opera House! This will be called "Walt Disney: A Magical Life"

✨ Pixar's Coco is finally getting its first attraction! This ride will be located in Disney California Adventure

✨ Tiana's Bayou will officially open on November 15!

✨ Disney Cruise Line will add on 4 NEW ships to their fleet from 2027 to 2031, which will bring their total to 13!!

Phew! And that’s just the U.S. locations 🤯 SO excited for all of this to open up!

Here’s our first look at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic opening at Universal’s Epic Universe in 2025!

Encounter fantastic beasts as you explore wizarding Paris in the 1920s, then take the Métro-Floo to the British Ministry in the 1990s for new thrills with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Get ready to explore the excitement of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic.

This land features the most ambitious attraction ever built by Universal - Harry Potter and the Battle of the Ministry. Soar on a magical lift as you help Harry, Ron and Hermione stop Dolores Umbridge.

You will also travel between the Paris and London ministries via the Floo network 🤯

This theme park is going to raise the bar and we absolutely cannot wait!

Today we get our first look at Dark Universe coming to Epic Universe at Universal Orlando next year!

💀 In Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, Dr. Victoria Frankenstein puts you in the midst of an angry revolt of fiendish monsters.

🐺 Maleva, leader of The Guild of Mystics, welcomes you to a secluded wagon camp. Here you're warned of the creatures who prowl the deep woods. Before long you're riding Curse of the Werewolf – surrounded by glowing eyes and gnashing teeth, you'll spin and weave through the forest as you attempt to escape a pack of werewolves.

🩺At Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience, Dr. Pretorius’ old lab has been converted into a parlor to continue the spirit of his demented experiments. Here, skilled artisans use their talents to experiment on customers and release their inner love of Universal Monsters – be they werewolves, vampires, mummies, or something even more fashionably monstrous.

🏚️Visit Darkmoor Village and meet its inhabitants, including Frankenstein’s Monster and his Bride; Ygor; The Invisible Man; a courageous monster hunter; or a musician who may regale you with songs about the village.

🧛🏻‍♂️Shrouded in mystery, Das Stakehaus is an old inn and dining hall built over the ruins of ancient catacombs. Here you can enjoy a meal surrounded by vampire artwork and artifacts. In fact, the restaurant is run by vampires’ “familiars”, or servants. Just don’t venture down to the catacombs below, or you might find yourself on the vampires’ menu.

Universal’s DreamWorks Land officially opens today in Orlando! There’s SO many fun new additions to check out that the whole family will love!

🫏 Visit Shrek’s swamp where you can explore and meet Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey!

✨ Party with the Trolls! Ride the new Trolls Trollercoaster, meet Poppy and Branch, and play in Poppy’s playground!

🐸New details on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening at Walt Disney World on June 28th! 👑

When the ride opens, there will be 2 ways to ride:

1. Virtual Queue - Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m.

2. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service.

There will NOT be a standby line available when this ride opens.

Beignets, anyone? Beginning opening day, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook will be serving up Tiana’s Famous Beignets! These beignets will be drizzled with honey and powdered sugar. These will be available for a limited time only.

Who is ready to “drop in” for this new attraction?!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is officially back this year with dates ranging from August 9th - October 31st, 2024 at Walt Disney World!

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting Wednesday, May 8th, and tickets will be available to all guests starting Wednesday, May 15th.
