So Much to Do in June!
Music, art and theater events abound in our area, plus antique cars, painted bears, and, just into July, fireworks:
May 17-October 7: Glass sculpture at the Biltmore Estate: The monumental glass sculptures of Dale Chihuly will be on display indoors at the Biltmore Estate and outdoors in the Biltmore Estate Gardens from May 17 to October 7. The exhibit is included in the admission price. Don't forget that Clear Creek Cabins has special Biltmore Estate Tickets available for our guests - they are good for two consecutive days, compared to the regular tickets which are good for only one day.
June 1 - October 20: The Bears come back to Downtown Hendersonville on Friday June 1 and remain until October 20th, when they are auctioned off to benefit local non-profit organizations. If you haven't seen them before, this is your opportunity! Of course, they are not real bears! They are life size fiberglass outdoor bear sculptures. Each bear is sponsored by a business or organization to benefit a local nonprofit of its choosing. Each bear is uniquely painted by a different artist.
