This fall we took an incredible group of students and teachers out to the Southwest to explore and connect outside of the classroom. The moment you have all been waiting for: Photo Contest results!! We’re starting off with our 2nd place winner today, Molly from California Discovery! put us in the moment with her photos. From the sand between our toes to walking through the Sierra Mountains and waking up to a misty morning along the coast, we felt like we were there with her in her submissions, and this one took the cake! We love the composition and the point of view that made it feel like we were hiking along the coast and down into this beautiful each with you. We are safe! Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out to check on Bold Earth and our team. Our office, homes, and people have made it out of this largely unscathed, but many others in our community have not been as lucky. Western North Carolina has been devastated by this storm and part of our team will be out volunteering with relief efforts this week. Our team located out of state will monitoring our phone lines and email until power, water, internet, and cell service is restored to the area. Please bear with us as we recover and send all your thoughts to WNC and all those that were affected by Helene 💛💛💛.
