State law mandates that a n**e, soapy shower be taken before entering pool area. Swimmers who leave the pool area for any reason are required to shower before returning to the pool.
2. Admission to the pool is refused to all persons having contagious/infectious conditions. Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose or otherwise introducing contaminants into the pool are not permitted.

tely no running, pushing, dunking, chicken fights or horseplay of any kind.
5. Children under 45 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult into the pool. Swimmers under the age of 12 are limited to 3 hours of swimming when not accompanied by an adult.
6. Flotation devices are for those under 20 pounds and must be worn in the shallowest part of the pool. An adult must accompany children using flotation devices.
7. Profanity will not be tolerated.
8. Back dives, flips and reverse flips are not permitted off the sides of the pool.
9. Swimmers must be able to tread water and swim the front crawl stroke for 2 widths before entering the deep end of the pool or going off the diving board.
10. Diving is allowed in the deep end by the diving board.
11. One person on the board at a time and one bounce when diving.
12. No masks, goggles, fins or flotation device when going off the board.
13. Balls, Frisbees and rafts are not allowed in the pool.
14. Swimmers are to stay off the safety ropes while swimming.
15. No loitering in the complex building.
16. Avoid unnecessary conversations with the lifeguards: do not distract them from their responsibilities.
17. Jewelry including earrings are not allowed in the pool.
18. No glass containers will be permitted on the pool deck, sun deck or in the locker rooms.
19. The Hennepin Park District will not be responsible for the loss/damage to personal property. Please see reverse side for additional rules.
20. The pool staff reserves the right to prohibit any person(s) from use of the facilities because of improper conduct.
21. No street shoes are allowed in the pool area.
22. No gum is allowed in the pool area.
23. No smoking is allowed in the facility.
24. Swimmers must have a bathing suit on to swim. The suit must have a liner in it. No cutoffs, spandex, jeans, t-shirts or gym shorts will be allowed.
25. Children not toilet trained must were re-usable swim diapers or rubber or plastic pants.
26. No alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted at this facility.
27. No one may enter the pool under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
28. Only authorized personnel will be allowed on or around the guard chairs.
29. Playing on or around the ladders is not permitted.
30. Person on the diving board must wait until the previous person reaches the side of the pool or is out of the area directly below &/or in front of the diving board.
31. Handstands or cartwheels are not permitted off the diving board.
32. You must dive or jump straight off the end of the board.
33. Hanging from the diving board is not allowed.
34. Children may not jump off the board into the arms of another swimmer.
35. No one may jump off the board onto anything else such as a noodle, inner tube, raft, another person or etc.
36. Obey the rules of the lifeguards and the pool staff.
37. When the manager is not on the premises, the pool attendant on duty is in charge of the guards and the swimmers and has the right to send home staff personnel and swimmers.
38. The Hennepin Park district has the right to enter lockers of individuals when given cause if vandalism, theft, accidents or any other related event that deems necessary.
39. In the interest of public safety, the Hennepin Park District reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone for any reason.
40. Due to privacy issues, the Hennepin Park Districts prohibits the use of any recording or photographic devices in the locker room
