Hermann, Mo. Just over 1 hour from St Louis, this sweet German town is known for wine, weddings, whiskey and festivals. The perfect place for guests to come and make memories!

My dream to open a guest house started when I stumbled upon a crew renovating what was to become one of now 4 amazing spaces in St Charles. I knew then I wanted to to the same, in a different city....fast forward to 2017, one lazy Sunday morning everything would become very clear. Within 5 minutes of my search, this amazing space would show up, and within hours, I was on my way to seeing my dream come to life!

With the help of so many incredibly talented ( and patient) people, The Shanty opened June 1, 2018, and The Shed followed in the fall. WOW! Our guests seem to love the colorful and fun space of The Shanty, the sexy rustic ambiance of The Shed, the most amazing beds and the fantastic location, convenient, yet peaceful!
