Have you seen the brand new theme park opening at Universal Studios Orlando? Yes, whole new park!!! Epic Universe is set to open May 22, 2025 with five immersive worlds. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, Dark Universe and Celestial Park are going to be the themes of these new worlds and be unlike anything Universal has done before.

Ticket and packages are on sale now so if you definitely want to get to this new park next year, now is the time to put down a deposit to hold your spot. Try the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel for the first time as well.

Character dining at Disney!!

Does your family enjoy eating with Mickey and friends or the princesses? It is one of my favorite ways to visit with characters without waiting in line. They come to your table, sign autographs, give hugs, and take pictures. Topolinos is one of the newer character breakfast located at Disney’s Riviera Resort and possibly my favorite. You can pay when you get there or this is one of your choices included in the Disney Dining plan available to onsite guests only. I love to help people pick the best locations for dining. Fall is in full swing at Disney World right now. Halloween decorations are up, and the villains are making appearances at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It is one of my favorite time to visits. We still have some promotions and availability for a last minute Halloween trip. But, for those who cannot miss school, we have some great prices during school breaks that are coming up.

All of these prices are for 2 adults and 2 kids, 5 nights at one of Disney’s All Star Resorts, and 4 day park tickets. That’s a full day at each park. The time you travel really makes a difference so I always like to offer options. These are just estimates and the exact dates you choose could change them a bit. Prices are not guaranteed until a deposit has been made.

It’s Food and Wine Festival time at Epcot! This is seriously one of my very favorite times to visit. It runs through November 18th and it is such a fabulous time of the year. You can walk around the different countries sampling food and drinks, hear amazing live music, enjoy fall temperatures, and catch the Halloween season or Christmas season (including after hours parties at MK for those)! Here is a little flying tip for the day!

I hear all the time how expensive it is flying. I know not all of my followers are in the Memphis area, but this goes for any flight. If you can be flexible enough to book your trip around flights, you can find a great deal. This roundtrip, nonstop flight in September is only $42/person. I wasn’t even planning a trip and just bought these since my baby will be turning 2 that week! See, there’s that Disney math, when it makes perfect sense to just book the trip! 🤣 These same flights a day or 2 before or after are double and almost triple the price.

This is just 1 more of the 5,678,699 reasons using an agent is helpful. I may not book flights, but I will always help you find the best deal. Even if you go all the time, supporting my small business helps so much!

I just had a message asking me if it’s really THAT much cheaper to take your family during school times. The answer is YES! I know everyone cannot take their kids out of school, but the crowds are lower and costs are less if you can. Here are a few examples. All of these are 5 night vacations with hotel stay and 4 day park tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids. These prices are not exact and can change depending on resort and ticket options. Nothing is guaranteed until a deposit is made.

The time you travel can really make a difference if you are on a tight budget or trying to avoid large crowds. This is something I always discuss with my clients before they book. I also check for promotions as they come out, help with dining reservations, give recommendations that fit your family’s needs, and help you understand the new genie + system. Most of my clients even text with questions while they are there. I am available from the time you book until you come home and my services are FREE to you. Do you eat with your favorite characters on your Disney trips? We do, and I’ll tell you why. It is a great way to see some of your favorites without waiting in line. It’s also nice to sit down inside and cool off and take a break. The characters come right up to your table to sign autographs, take pictures, and give hugs (if you want them). Now that dining plans are coming back for 2024 you can plan and pay for these meals before your trip.

Let’s talk Universal Studios! I do book Universal trips a lot, I just don’t post about them much. Anyone who knows me personally knows I’m a Disney girl all the way. It is my very favorite place and nothing compares for me. I also know Disney is not most teenage boys favorite, and Universal usually has more to offer them. Our boys talked us into a boys only weekend trip to Universal recently and we really did enjoy it. We stayed at a Deluxe resort to take advantage of the free express pass they offer for staying there. It was beautiful and close enough to walk to the parks. They rode everything there over and over and barely stopped to even eat.

There is a cute, little old fashioned barber shop on Main Street called Harmony Barber Shop. If you’ve never had a hair cut or beard trim here, you are missing out! Such a unique experience for your vacation. They even do first haircuts for your baby. You get a pair of Mickey ears, a special lock of hair, and a certificate! My sweet boy just got his done and it was so special for this Disney loving Mama!
