Cool day= family fun day at Lakeland Recreation Center in Houghton Lake! 15 minute drive from the HLTC. Our kids loved it—and so did the adults 😜

Summer is right around the corner and we are getting excited!! We updated the tree house with new exterior lights and a LED solar house sign to make it easier to visualize from the road. Amazon for the win!! 😎☀️😎

A beautiful day at Markey Township Memorial Park, one of our favorite places to visit at Higgins Lake! It is an 8 minute drive from the Tree House ☀️😎☀️. Not pictured-the equally amazing dog park. 🐶🐶.

Higgins Lake is known for its sunsets. If you haven’t gotten to see the sunrise over the lake, make it happen this summer!! Equally as breathtaking!! ☀️😎☀️.

Marl Lake, part of the South Higgins Lake State Park, is a 9 minute drive from the Tree House. It is a beautiful quiet place to hike, fish, and mountain bike. There are three hiking loops (see map below). In the winter it is groomed for cross country skiing.
