UPDATE October 6th.
Casa is open and fully operarional. Highlands is also back. So grateful for all who helped our town get back on its feet. We welcome you with open arms.
Our neighbors still need help as we mentioned below. Please support as you're able. Thank you and looking forward to seeing you soon..
To Our Casa Sueños Friends,
We’re sure you’ve heard the news about the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, throughout several S.E. states. Our hearts are broken and our prayers are with all affected. We are doing our part to try to connect loved ones with those who are still missing and help in any way we can.
We want to share that thankfully our beautiful log cabin in Highlands is well. We were protected and blessed and we are beyond grateful. There has been no damage to the home or to the property. Naturally, we are without power or water at the moment, as is most of the area.
We will reach out when we are back so you can plan a restful escape in N.C. again…and contribute to the area’s economy, which will be greatly needed and appreciated by all.
We hope that you weren’t affected by this storm and that you and yours are well. Please keep all the people, animals, and our gorgeous state in your prayers.
Below is an article that lists nonprofits helping in the area, in case you wish to donate.
