Due to the school closing for weather and illness cleaning purposes, Kid Adventures will be closed tomorrow 2/6 and Friday 2/7 (Both AM and PM programs!)
Our Family Night scheduled for Friday, 2/7 will be postponed until Friday 2/21.

Good Morning KA Families,
Just a reminder this event is rescheduled for February 21st! - Kid Adventures is hosting another Family Night. Pop in, have your kiddos decorate a Valentine Cookie, and watch the Valentines Charlie Brown Special. Hope to see you there!

We invite our Kid Adventure families for a fun night of Cookie Decorating (kids will get cookies to decorate first - depending on numbers, parents might be able join in the fun) We will also be showing the Charlie Brown Special "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown."
This event will be for our Kid Adventure Families, and is not a School Sponsored Event.

Today during Early Release we went over a Social Emotional Activity. We started with a permanent marker and a blank piece of paper. We put a heart on the paper then asked students to give us words that someone may use to bring someone down. After the heart was filled with some of the negative words, we also showed that hands could hurt someone’s heart as well, the heart was ripped into fours. We also expressed these words could not be taken away because the permanent marker cannot erase.
Now it takes a lot to heal a heart that has been hurt. We as adults have experienced a lot of hurt in our personal lives, at one time or another. It takes time but we still carry some of those times. Even if these things happened when we were their age!
We then took tape and had each one of our staff members and a couple of kiddos tape the heart back together. With those pieces of tape we also put healing and kind words around the same heart. We were so happy to see the empathy and kindness that each of our kiddos showed during this activity.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kid Adventures BEFORE SCHOOL PROGRAM will be canceled tomorrow Morning - Friday the 17th.
Unfortunately, tonight water flooded into our KA Office and KA Closet. We will not be able to operate our program.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Good Morning KA Families,
Reminder that the Early Release is this Friday, the 17th. The Elementary school day ends at 1:00 PM and that's when dismissals from school start. We ask that if you need to have your child(ren) at Kid Adventures this Friday that you sign them up on the Orange Clipboard on the family table.
If your child will have a different dismissal plan this day, please also email us to let us know so we can make sure they get to where they need to be safely. Thank you!

Good Morning KA Families,
Friendly reminder that a week from today is the Early Release (1/17). Please sign your child(ren) up on the Orange clipboard on our family table next to the regular sign in papers.
We are going to be setting up our roster for the Early Release at the beginning of next week. Please be sure to double check, if you need that Early Release day that your child(ren) are signed up at either AM Drop Off or PM Pick Up!
