I'll continue updating pictures of the storm damage in the same album that I mentioned earlier (which is in my personal account, but public). Having called the electric company Tuesday 5/21, I was told I had 5 days to get this done without having to go into engineering and permitting. Having no idea how to get that done I asked my neighbor at home for recommendations and for getting the tree off the house got Tree Works recommended. Called them Wednesday, the foreman came the same day, the crew came Thursday and got the tree debris off the house. I know an electrician who came by (he lives close), looked at it and we bought most of the parts, he installed the new meter panel and what goes with it Friday, called the electric company back Friday (they had given me until Tuesday because Monday was Memorial Day) and their inspector came that night (on his way home), and the electric company connected the power line Saturday. After the power line was reconnected I called the cable company (Internet and TV), but they didn't work over the long weekend, but connected the cable today. There still is a lot of lychee tree debris in part of the front yard and most of the mauka side yard, but it's functional again (definitely more functional than the people who stayed there last week had to deal with, but they were very well able to work around it - with some help from neighbors)
