First Saturday of each month. Every dollar is a vote. That vote always counts. We call it Economic Democracy. Democracy x Unity = Real Power

50 million shoppers = a half trillion $ – larger then Wal-Mart (5? Million manufacturing jobs). If we show up with 50 million shoppers and half trillion budget; every store will have something American Made on that day.

50 Million also happens to be the number of women that go shopping every Saturday anyway. On that 1st Sat, all they have to do is ask: ‘Please show me your American Made.’ That’s it. We have an instant revolution that just jump started our American Economy. The economy is $20 Trillion a year. If just 20% of that was American Made, we would have 100% employment. That is why just 1 day a month is enough to almost get us over the top. It’s actually 2 weeks a year. We start here in Hawaii. Right now, we only have a 4% to 6% market penetration of locally made. It would only take 200,000 residents joining to buy Locally Made on that 1st Sat of each month to get to our 20%. Hawaii has one big bonus over most all other places – Tourism. If we could get just 7% of the tourist to join us on that 1st Sat, we have $8 billion a year. The local economy will take off. And so we ask: would you be willing to keep your eyes open on this 1st Saturday for American and Locally Made products. Here’s our members 4 Pledges:

Sustainability begins with how we spend our money. Recycling and the rest is after the fact. It’s a vote that really, really counts. We call it Economic Democracy.

50 million shoppers buy American Made products on the first Saturday of each month. That is 13 million union members getting 3 friends & family. We just need to get big enough to get their attention. They could do this in just weeks. That comes to a half trillion a year, bigger than Wal-Mart and a half million manufacturing jobs at just a few hundred dollars each. But….This is not about jobs or shopping. It’s about Common Cause.

4) Infrastructure of American Made
Build out an alternative infrastructure for every major product category and industry sector so they can be scale-up should we have a fall-out with China, Brazil, India, Russia, etc. It’s a national security issue more than an economic one. Anecdotes:
The USA economy is just massive at nearly 20 trillion a year GNP. We need but consume American Made products by as little as say 20% to 30% to have 100% employment. We are the only country in history that can consume 80% from other countries and still have 100% employment. This is why one day a month makes such a big difference – two weeks a year. We need only add as little as 10% to 20% more American Made consumption to have 100% employment.

• Easy for stores to highlight just one day a month.
• Easy for shoppers to commit to – just one day a month.
• We offer 50 million buyers and half trillion in buying power. Most every store will have something American Made on that day.


2) Ask 3 friends & family to join.
• We don’t need TV & radio once we start talking to each other. Welcome to grass roots.


3) Ask 1 Store: “Please Show me your American Made.”
• It’s our outreach.
• A small biz having 10 to 20 customers asking them will get the message. If a 1,000 people ask at Walmart, corporate headquarters will hear about it within 48 hours.


4) $20 – One time, annual membership fee.
• 50 million x $20 is $1 billion. No need for special interest $. We have our 3 Star American Made
Bronze Star: 30% American Made
-Silver Star: 60% American Made
Gold Star: 80% American Made

Companies at 25% American Made will add 5% to get that 30% Star. Those at 50% will add 10% more and those at 60% will add 30% to win their American Made Gold Star. Companies adding just this little difference of American made will put us over the top for 100% employment with great, manufacturing jobs. Party Platform

1) Find Common Cause
a) One simple act can change the world. We choose ones that have 95% agreement. b) Planting 5 trees twice a year is a universal ideal much like buying American Made once a month. Look for similar universal ‘fun stuff.’

2) Party of Positives
a) There is a positive alternative for most anything we don’t like. You find its positive counterpart and we will help you promote it. b) There’s lots organizations dedicated to fighting against the things you don’t like. We are dedicated to empowering those you love.

3) People Based vs Causes
a) ASP is more about promoting the people behind the things we love over causes alone. We highlight the people with that American Spirit that so inspired these new technologies and alternative options. b) Lady didn’t want China Made Tea Cup with their led based paint. Took a few weeks to find an American women who made them. We would highlight that women.

4) Punish through irrelevancy. Reward those of our ideal.

5) Smart Dialogue vs Winning Office

a) The American entrepreneurial spirit has given us a country of great leaders, visionaries and a host of wonderful ideas. There is no place for them in our political process. ASP is about providing the forum for them to find new partnerships. b) Run Smart Candidates dedicated to opening the discussion to new ideas versus winning office.

6) National Security vs Economics

a) Third World countries are now becoming Developed Nations so America’s colonial model to blackmail and bride resources from them fading. This is the story behind America’s economic troubles. Alternative is to build an infrastructure of alternative options. Raghu-nomics
