We love Hilton Head and we know that our guests do too. Please help preserve the beauty of this island that makes it the place we all love to visit. If you carry it to the beach, please carry it off the beach. If you dig a hole or build a sandcastle please fill in/knock down before you leave. Let’s all do our part to leave the beach cleaner than when we arrived.

Great post about our beloved sea turtles. Thank you to all the volunteers that keep our turtles safe.

Today is World Sea Turtle Day. We are proud to partner with organizations like Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island to ensure that the sea turtles who nest on Hilton Head Island are able to do so safely. As of June 14, there were over 100 nests counted by Sea Turtle Patrol HHI! Thank you to all the volunteers who make this possible.

Great to see that this sea turtle was finally able to make it back to the water. This highlights why the beach rules are so important. If you make a hole please fill it in before you leave.

Help protect our turtles. No lights on the beach at night. If you dig a whole fill it in before you leave. Clean up your trash. Keep Hilton Head beautiful, and save a turtle.

Today is May 1, start of the sea turtle nesting season. 🐢

Please remember to turn off outside lights that can be seen from the beach between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am, and to draw blinds or curtains or shut off interior lights that are visible from the beach.

Our sea turtles need your help to have a successful nesting season; will we beat last year's total of 291 nests? Sea turtles dig the dark! 🐢

"The villa is exactly as was described and shown in the pictures. Very clean and super well stocked home. Lots of little extras like beach chairs and towels, plenty of soaps, lotion and TP etc. The team at The Vacation Company was very responsive to my questions prior to coming and in fact the reason we specifically selected a unit through them. They are right here on the island with staff to immediately address any concerns or issues locally if need be. So far could not be more happy with this accommodation."

2021 summer dates are filling up fast. If you are looking for a place to get away this summer, I hope you consider 189 Beachwalk, Hilton Head Island. Stay safe, travel domestically and have a place all of your own for your vacation. Enjoy a short walk to the beach, stay close to the pool and have plenty of room for your family with two king suites plus two twins in our third bedroom. The pull out sleeper sofa makes it comfortable for up to 8 guests total. Two living rooms means the kids can have a space of their own while the adults relax in their own environment.

I know that this page is usually all about Hilton Head, sunrises, the beautiful beaches and planning your next vacation. For this post I would like you to take a minute and count to 13...

Did you do it? Why 13? Every day 13 children and teens are diagnosed with a brain tumor. That is 13 families whose whole world will change today. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is there for those children and their families.

We are proud supporters of this great organization and we look forward to strengthening our commitment to help advance erase arch, education, financial and emotional support for families going through this unimaginable battle.

Later this spring we hope to have a formal announcement about a giveaway that we are planning to benefit Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. A week of your choice at 189 Beachwalk along with some other great perks. Hopefully we can help to raise awareness and more importantly to raise money. Merry Christmas from our family to yours. Santa was especially nice to us this year (and his FedEx and UPS helpers). He brought lots of new art to add to 189 Beachwalk. Gifts for us and all of the guests that we host throughout the year. Here are a few pictures of the few that I have put up already. I will share (lots) more as I hang the rest. Oh and some new curtains too.

It has been a busy week freshening up some paint, staining the decks and trying to make out place special for all who come to visit.

We had a great 2 hour vanishing island tour and dolphin sighting tour with Commander Zodiac last week. Definitely an activity to add to your vacation. Captain Todd was very informative with tons of information on the islands and the many dolphins we got to see. We will definitely be back for another trip next year!
