Ah, until next year!

Thats a wrap on sea turtle season for 2022! 🐢🌊

This season we had 423 nests (almost double last season)! We had an estimated 47,671 eggs with 37,826 hatched eggs and a nest success rate of 93.5%. Thank you to Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island for all your hard work throughout May to October, and thank you to our visitors and residents for making the beach a safe place for our turtles.

We look forward to whats to come in May 2023 when the season starts again!
