Did you know that the was an integral part of the boat-building industry in WWII?

With ports in Europe and the UK completely booked with boat construction, the US offered its marine ships to help deploy more force into Europe, opening a necessity for more naval ships across the globe.

Within 2 years, Hingham Shipyard became one of the biggest boatyards in the US, earning the location an E Flag in 1942 for their boatyard efforts.
