I saved the best for last …
Everyone flips over the tile in this bathroom and for good reason! It can be rotated in so many different ways to create a new pattern. It’s very versatile. In the end I chose this way because there is so much going in the house itself already. The floor tile is classic Terrazzo tile that I found on FB marketplace 🙌🏾 that balances it out beautifully.
Of course I made sure the lighting was on point for all the ladies and selfies to be had.
The bathroom is stocked with toiletries and even a bar of goat milk soap from the farm for you take to home.

Initially the living room and kitchen were so very dark.
We El Jefe and I decided to add three huge windows and knock down the adjoining wall to let more light in.
It made all the difference. I kept all the original kitchen cabinetry but painted it and did the open concept for the uppers. I kept the original countertops as well and refrigerator which was white. I painted it blue using enamel paint. El Jefe created another epoxy bar top and continued the architectural feature as its base. That orange door is original but oh so cute and these chairs were FB marketplace finds. I found lots of vintage plates and continued the pop art theme. Check out the art above the oven! I initially was going to hire someone to paint the murals in the bedrooms for The Babe but nah. They couldn’t see what I envisioned and I knew I could paint. So I just let my paint brush do its thang!
Art is so therapeutic. I am so glad that I chose to take this on myself. Both these rooms represent me.

I had so many ideas for this house that I almost had to reign myself back. It had been awhile like a long while that I had been able to let my creativity flow again besides landscaping. So I was having so much fun. Can you tell? I hit up FB marketplace and every thrift store finding unique pieces, like the sundial clock! But I also love to upcycle. I do NOT throw away wood. That’s is blasphemy in my house! I created this sundial door using left over trim. And there to the left is the architectural piece mimicked again.

Who remembers the Brady Bunch house?!🙋🏽‍♀️
That house was wild if you think about it especially that kitchen! BRIGHT orange! That living room had an architectural feature and so did the exterior. I wanted to do the same so we repeated the pattern on the car port, the entrance and the bar top support in the kitchen. In design, it truly is the little details that make BIG impacts.

We have tons of puzzles and games for you and your friends to enjoy and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the world. Yes we still have a TV and hi-speed internet connection for you now you have options! I even included a piece of “home” … I was raised in the ghetto for those of you that don’t know. The second bedroom represents my feminine mystique. This is my vulnerable side. It is my Garden of Eden. It truly came about after a discussion with another mom about our youngest daughters and their struggles with their growing changing bodies. Their feelings of shame. It made me reflect on my own feelings of shame and how society makes us unfairly wear this veil. So I painted this silhouette in that night. She wasn’t planned but she is very much now well intentioned to remind us all that we do not need to carry that burden of shame. No ma’am. As my girls would say, “ That is a YP. Not a MP.” Walk proudly in the skin you are in. ❤️

When we started the renovations, we did not want this to look like your traditional homes: white washed, bland, no personality, etc.
We wanted it to be reminiscent of its original era, the 60s, but with a naughty, sexy twist. And VIBRANT! It is quirky at best and really it is a reflection of my personality. 💁🏽‍♀️
Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, I was a graphic design major. (Really, I was an electrical engineering major at CalPoly prior to that, but I quickly realized that I was in a room full of SouthPark fans and I did not belong so I switched gears. 😂) But in Asian culture specifically Filipino culture, you are either a doctor, engineer, or nurse so 🫠
Clearly I have worn and continue to wear many hats. I want this to inspire all of you to never let anyone pigeon hole you into being a version of you that makes you more palatable to them. No ma’am. DARE to be you! DARE to be DIFFERENT! Because normal is boring.

Well it seems as if one of the quads is struggling.
Whether or not she is being rejected, I haven’t determined but she is obviously weak. She is urinating and pooping. So another round of nutrient drench, probiotics, and now some electrolytes. I’ll start making formula and begin bottle feeding this one now.
There is way more to animal husbandry than cuddling. You are the vet and all. And you need to prepare yourself for the possibility of death because it’s not a matter of if … but when. It is a sad reality of farming.

Here’s what I know. Goats cycle like us humans meaning they’ll all be in heat together so when one birth starts … hold on to your hats because it’s a domino effect! Kiwi birthing yesterday was a surprise. I fully expected the other goats to go first. With Adam you don’t know because she’s guaranteed to give you triplets so she’s huge regardless but she was displaying all the signs yesterday- curled up tail, pawing the ground, off to herself, spine palpable through her tail and then the impending rain. I checked in her last night before 11pm and nada. I wake up and find she had FOUR girls! She’s doing great and they all seem to be as well. Now it is common that a goat can reject one or more of her kids esp the weekend link or female. They naturally still gravitate towards preferring the male and nurture them. It’s that survival instinct if the species.
