Students in grades 5 and 6 having been learning about the early native tribes of Minnesota. They constructed par flèches to represent the containers made by the Dakota people.

What a fun Monday we had! In the morning, 4K/K went to the play “Rumpelstiltskin” at Viterbo. In the afternoon, 1st-8th went to the Houston County Historical Society in Caledonia. We had the opportunity to learn about early Native Americans in and around Hokah, as well as see a lot of cool exhibits. Thank you to Paul Wiste and the other volunteers who shared information with us!

T-minus 1 week until the Roast Beef Dinner! Many helpers turned out this morning to bake the bread (416 loaves!!) which is primarily used for the dressing.

If you haven’t signed up yet to help, this is an all hands on deck event! If you’ve never helped, but want to see what all the fuss is about, please join us for a couple hours. There are openings from Thursday through Saturday, and we can always use clean up helpers on Saturday night.
