🐠🐡A few days ago in Walt Disney World was the anniversary of EPCOT'S “Seas with Nemo and Friends” attraction. This location holds a very special place in my heart. After the ride ends it drops guests off in the Aquarium. A 5.7 million gallon saltwater aquarium.

Upstairs is a path that leads to a small round room and all along the path to the room, are big glass windows into the giant tank. I would go and sit in the middle of the round room when I was home sick or just sad. It is peaceful and comforting and such a special spot in Disney. If you've never seen it, you're truly missing out on a beautiful place.

It's 17 years old now and every time I visit I make time to go and visit my happy place. Let me know if you've visited!

🐸Today is the opening day of Tiana's Place in Disneyland!🐸

The Tiana’s Palace restaurant opening will mark the next step in bringing more of Princess Tiana’s stories to life in New Orleans Square, which began with Eudora’s Chic Boutique featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets last year and will continue with the opening of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction in 2024. Disney is thrilled to expand upon Princess Tiana’s story, pay homage to the cuisine of the Crescent City, and welcome guests into Tiana’s Palace in just a few short weeks!

There will be so many elegant yet subtle details throughout the restaurant that offer fun hints at Tiana’s rich past in New Orleans. Below the lit marquee that reads “Tiana’s Palace” hanging above a metallic gold balcony, is an emerald green wrought iron railing and awnings dyed in yellow and green, reminiscent of Tiana’s beautiful formal ball gown. Guests will be surrounded by the colors of Mardi Gras as they sit at yellow tabletops, on warm vanilla-colored chairs with green seats, in the shade of yellow and green umbrellas.

Disney Imagineers also took inspiration from the film for the interior of the restaurant, which includes a large mural of the bayou. Guests will also see other references to Tiana’s story – lilies represented on numerous signs, plaques and light fixtures, frog porcelains, cookbooks Tiana has collected on little shelves, and her father’s favorite gumbo spoon proudly on display. Guests will also want to keep an eye out for the letters from her father and neighbors on display, alongside a childhood photo of Tiana.

Did you know? The design of Tiana’s Palace from the Disney Animation film “The Princess and the Frog” was actually inspired by the French Market Restaurant – the former restaurant in this space – in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. In the film, Disney Animation artists added a wheelhouse and two smokestacks to give Tiana’s restaurant an iconic silhouette, so when the time came to bring Tiana’s Palace to life at Disneyland, Disney Imagineers made those same additions to create the real Tiana’s Palace, making this a full circle moment!

At Tiana’s Palace, Guests can enjoy new menu items that represent Tiana’s story and honor the flavors and flair of New Orleans, with an effort to source some ingredients directly from the state of Louisiana when possible. Plus, we'll now be able to mobile order these new dishes on the Disneyland app.

Get ready for a spook-tacular celebration with plenty of tricks and treats when the series of parties kicks off August 11.

🎃With spellbinding entertainment, favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best and more, celebrate the most haunting time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort. If you are a Ducktales fan you should check this out, if you aren't...watch the new Ducktales it's pretty great lol.

As part of the overarching transformation of EPCOT, Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure debuted to guests on Dec. 16 with the Play Disney Parks app!

Join Scrooge McDuck, his nephews and friends as they travel around EPCOT World Showcase on a quacky quest to find the Seven Plunders of the World —and return them to their rightful owners. This expedition is about adventure and faraway destinations, not plunder. Life is better when we explore the world around us. The treasures are hidden in each country pavilion:
* Mexico
* Norway
* China
* Germany
* Japan
* France
* United Kingdom

Each country has three assignments and one finale; each mission takes approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. Guests are encouraged to replay countries at their leisure as there are variables to the set of missions a Guest can receive. When a country is completed, guests will receive an achievement within the Disney Play App. Once all the countries have been completed, guests will unlock the finale mission which is playable within the app itself!

🪄 “Welcome to Fantasmic! ...”

We could not be more excited to share that “Fantasmic!” returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Nov. 3. Back and better than ever, the larger-than-life, open-air nighttime musical will boast the live performers, stunning effects, rousing music and dazzling pyrotechnics you know and love – complete with a brand-new show sequence!

“Through this entire sequence, we go on a journey with our heroes. We see them faced with a decision, and how hard that can be for them, then watch as they find that strength within themselves to push through in a truly spectacular way,” says Disney Live Entertainment Show Director, Matthew Hamel.

And spectacular it is. The new heroes sequence features a high-energy Aladdin chase with stunts never before seen on the “Fantasmic!” stage, a powerful scene with Elsa set to the song “Show Yourself” that is sure to thaw the most frozen of hearts, and stirring moments with Pocahontas, Moana and Mulan. Fun fact: To help choreograph the authentic Chinese martial arts you’ll see in Mulan’s scene, the creative team brought in Mimi Chan – the original muse and model animators used when bringing the character of Mulan to life for the 1998 animated film.

“We know this show means so much to people, and we’ve kept that in mind every step of this journey.” says Disney Live Entertainment Producer, Laurice Marier. “Even beyond the new scene, we’ve taken this time to upgrade the lasers, the lighting, the sound, all to bring this show back even more beautiful than it’s ever been. We’re all really just so excited for guests to see it.”

So, will the powers of Mickey's incredible imagination still be strong enough, and bright enough, to withstand the evil forces that invade Mickey's dreams? We are about to find out. See everyone there!

It's my absolute favorite time in all Disney Parks! Fall! We know Disney World has been ready for the Halloween for awhile now but Disneyland just finished and opened up what is my all time favorite spot. Haunted Mansion Holidays! Jack Skellington takes over the mansion and Nightmare Before Christmas reins over the ride. It is by far my favorite thing in all Disney.

Disneyland also has the beautiful Plaza de la Familia back at Disney California Adventure park now through Nov. 2, celebrating the everlasting bonds of family with entertainment and experiences inspired by Día de los Mu***os. The festivities include live entertainment, specialty foods, crafts and interactive experiences. Not to be missed is the lively street show, “A Musical Celebration of Coco,” presented several times daily. The entertaining Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia share a heartwarming tale that celebrates popular songs including the Oscar®-winning Best Original Song, “Remember Me.” If Coco is one of your favorites, it's a must see!

Also new in Disneyland park, some of our favorite characters have tapped into their sewing skills and fashioned new playful “homemade” looks, all ready for trick-or-treating! These adorable outfits are just for the 2022 Halloween season, so make sure guests have their cameras ready! Be on the lookout for Mickey Mouse as a jaunty jack-o-lantern, Minnie Mouse as a stylish witch, Goofy as a haunted apple tree, Donald Duck as a quirky candy corn and other new looks from Daisy Duck, Clarabelle, Chip and Dale and Pluto, as well!

Each night through Oct. 31, guests may enjoy an eerily extraordinary experience in the form of “Halloween Screams,” a not-so-frightful projection and special effects show in Disneyland. On weekend nights, “Halloween Screams” takes to the skies to enhance the spirited illuminations with fireworks. Guests can view “Halloween Screams” from several different locations throughout the park, including Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world.”

Disney Fab 50 Quest

⚜️The name of the new attraction evolving from the reimagining of Splash Mountain was announced today during ESSENCE Fest in New Orleans: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The all-new adventure which will bring guests into the world of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film “The Princess and the Frog” like never before is coming to Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland park in California in late 2024.

⚜️Walt Disney Imagineers have been frequent travelers to Louisiana while conducting extensive research to ensure Tiana’s Bayou Adventure preserves the heart and soul of the city that inspired Princess Tiana’s story.
