Pilgrimage is coming back to Holly Springs this spring, bringing with it the very popular Haunted Holly Springs Walking Tour. Guests can stroll along historic Hill Crest Cemetery with Haunted Holly Springs Guide and local historian Phillip Knecht while sipping a specialty spooky spring cocktail and hearing tales of the terrifying yet true history of Holly Springs’s former citizens.

The Friday night “ghost” tour hopes to capture the popularity of Knecht’s fall “Haunted Holly Springs” tours that bring visitors from all over.

“These tours have gained popularity over the past few years, selling out every season,” says Knecht, who established the walking tours several years ago and has added more each year. “Our tours strive to be fun and spooky but still respectful to the families and citizens who have gone before us, so they will really be of interest to Pilgrims of all ages who love history.”

Guests will gather at Hill Crest’s entrance at 8pm, Friday, April 12, to sign in and get their “spooky” evening cocktail (or mocktail, if preferred) and then meander through the historic cemetery hearing tales of its residents, some who found themselves victims of murder, mystery, and mayhem.

Can't wait until October to enjoy our spooky ghost walking tours? You're in luck! The Holly Springs Pilgrimage returns April 11th-14th (after a five year absence!) and Haunted Holly Springs is happy to announce that we will be conducting a one-night-only ghost walking tour of our beautifully spooky Hill Crest Cemetery on Friday, April 12th! Our cemetery tours have been very popular over the years, are we are always adding new stories, so make sure you don't miss this event!

We had a spooky blast last night during our second “Yellow Fever Fields” tour!

Thank you to our paranormal investigator Caden Mask, with Southern Ascension, who helped us do some ghost hunting and communicating! I think we all enjoyed learning about and using the Estes Method, and enjoyed “meeting” Peter, Xavier and the rest of the spirits who reached out. We also had some great Spirit Box and Flashlight activity at the Yellow Fever Martyrs Monument!

Thank you also to Officer Faulkner with the Holly Springs Police Department, who stopped by to check on the activity in the cemetery and made sure we all got back to our cars. It was appreciated!

We had a really fun time with our weeknight tour tonight, and we ended the night with the best spirit box session of the season! Someone named Steve communicated through the box, told us he wasn’t from Holly Springs, was born in Jackson, and died here in the year 1834! No, it doesn’t make any sense historically, but we went with it! 😀😱👻

We are entering the last week of our 2023 Haunted Holly Springs season! This is your last chance to check out one of our ghost walking tours for the year!

Thankfully, we have lots to pick from this week! Tomorrow, Wednesday the 25th, we will have our only weeknight tour- "Hill Country Hauntings" at 6:30 PM.

Thursday the 26th we have our last "Yellow Fever Fields" event, which combines a guided tour of Hill Crest Cemetery with a live ghost haunt led by paranormal experts! There are just a few tickets left for this event, so get them now before it's too late!

Friday night the 27th we have two of our walking tours at 6:30 and 9.

Saturday the 28th is our last tours of the season, with three tours (2:00 PM, 6:30 PM and 9 PM).

In our initial post-investigation pass of some of the shots we took last night during the “Yellow Fever Fields” tour, we discovered a few…..interesting things! Some of it is likely paranormal, and some of it is perfectly natural (but still a bit spooky) phenomena!

We seemed to capture some orb activity at the Yellow Fever Martyrs Monument. The green orb moves around constantly in all of my pictures (which were taken consecutively and from the same angle), which probably rules out some kind of camera glare or photographic aberration.

A few stops later, this poor woman in the background has two orbs surrounding her (green and blue). I hope she made it home safely! 👻😬

We also saw what seemed to be a “moon ring” or “ice ring” in the sky all night long. It seemed to move and follow us throughout the night. I know this is a natural phenomenon, but it definitely helped in the spooky department!

If we caught anything else on our other equipment, we will be sure to post it!

Due to popular demand, we have added one more night to our brand new tour, "The Yellow Fever Fields!" Our second night will be one week from today, Thursday, October 26th at 8 PM!

This immersive tour takes you on a late night trip through Hill Crest Cemetery, visiting several graves of Yellow Fever victims and hearing their tragic and spooky stories. We end at the very bottom of the cemetery, at the "Yellow Fever Fields", where many unmarked graves of Yellow Fever victims remain. This area has verified paranormal activity, so we will be joined by local paranormal experts to help us investigate and reach out to the other side!

This tour sells out very, very quickly, and we have limited space, so don't wait to buy your tickets!

We had an absolute blast last night on our Friday the 13th tours! These were our biggest groups ever, and probably our scariest tours too, with the addition of Mr. and Mrs. Voorhees, who made a few appearances throughout the night!

Friday the 13th is here!

Something, or someone, has awoken in tiny Holly Springs, Mississippi. The annual haunted walking tours will be just a bit more…..terrifying than usual on this cursed day. Our ghosts and ghouls will be joined by a lovely mother and her son from Camp Crystal Lake, and it should be a real scream!

We just got done putting the final touches on our new short film, “Mysteries of the Martyrs Museum”, which we will be showing on all of the “Murder and Plague” walking tours, starting this Friday the 13th! I really turned out well, and can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Thanks to our friend Jim Knox who recorded the narration for the film in the Yellow Fever Museum. His amazing baritone voice is the perfect touch!

We had a great time during the first weekend of the haunted tours! Thanks to everyone who came out to our opening event at the Yellow Fever Martyrs Museum on Friday (thank you Caden and Alissa for a great event!) and our great group on the first walking tour Saturday night! We even met a future ghost hunter (thanks for helping out Ryker!)

This chilly Fall weather is the perfect start to our ghost tours, which start TONIGHT! We have a "Hill Country Hauntings" tour at 6:30 PM, and there is still room for more if you want to join us!

For our guests with tickets, we will be sending out confirmation emails shortly (we try to send these out a few days early, and apologize for the delay).

For 2023, our Haunted Holly Springs headquarters will be the Holly Springs Main Street Chamber, located at 148 E. College Avenue, on the northeast corner of the Holly Springs Square. We really appreciate Main Street Chamber for allowing us to set up there this year, and thank them for their support!
