This natural gravel bar is called a terminal moraine, which was formed by glaciers over 14,000 years ago and is now 4.5 miles long.

Located in the private community of Halibut Cove, this small island restaurant is only accessible by boat and with advance reservation. Included with your reservation for either lunch or dinner, you'll travel on the 29 passenger Danny J fishing boat from the Homer Spit to the restaurant. 🛥️
