Steady at it! Even got a few nice trout, they should start coming around the deeper pockets of the flats soon. Redfishing is still the most consistent bite with shrimp or pinfish. Headed out scalloping today, we’ll see how it is.

Beautiful half day this morning ! Little Andrew did his first day of saltwater fishing and had lots of firsts and personal bests for him! From the start he was on it pretty much all by himself. Hooking his bait, casting it out, reeling them in and even unhooking them, a true natural!

Kristyn Shea and Walker Caples back again and brought their friend Dante along. We caught many redfish, lots of fish between 16-19 inches. It was tons of fun until the sharks show up 😂 afterwards we searched for some shallow water mangrove snappers and ended up with grunts instead. Great days with awesome people. Chilly morning turned into a nice day of throwing artificials. In just a few hours my awesome crew caught their limit of trout and some surprise sea bass as well with tons of ladyfish mixed in. Cold temps have had the trout on fire the past few days ! If you’re looking to fish call Captain Billy Farrar Fishing we are booking out for April.

What a day! Vincent Giordano, Greg, and Mickey all got their inshore slams ! Trout, Redfish and 6 snook landed today! Perfect weather and great company in Homosassa! Mostly on artificial too
