Extreme Fishing Habit Charters and Tours operates directly out of Homosassa, Florida, a true fisherman’s paradise both inshore and offshore, with a remarkable open bay giving way to exceptional clear waters and fish holding rocks and reefs. To make the most of this awesome location the crew runs a variety of vessels specially designed to give you the best experience on or in the waters whether you
are fishing, scalloping, diving, taking a sunset cruise, a trip to the springs or taking a scenic river cruise. We can also be your personal "Boat for Hire" for the entire time of your visit. During the summer months, as the fishing still remains superb, Extreme Fishing Habit Charters and Tours will also turn their focus towards offering multiple scalloping trips and runs to the beautiful springs to take a swim and cool off from the heat of the day. These trips are especially great and a lot of fun for families and definitely an awesome time for the kids. No worries. We can accomodate any group of any size. During the fall and winter months the bay, inshore, near shore and offshore fishing really fires up and remains that way even into the spring months. What's even exceptionally spectacular is the migration of manatees and other sea life into the local springs. We specialize in providing manatee tours (multiple tours a day) to the springs to allow you to get a clear view of these mammals and the extraordinary sea life in a natural habitat. To ensure a great but safe day out on the water we maintain vessels that are safe and in tip top shape. Our Captains are experienced and USCG Certified. We provide all rods, reels, tackle, snacks, beverages, ice and required licenses/permits. We do ask that all guests supply their own diving equipment, scalloping gear and snorkeling gear. We can set you up with a local dive and snorkelling shops that will rent you all the equipment and gear that you need.

Had an EXTREMELY nice father and son's day out on the water with Michael and his two sons. Caught quite a few catch and release Grouper and a Cobia. They did manage to slap a few good eats on the table for some fish tacos later.

Well although all the weather apps, the internet and the news got the wind forecast totally wrong again, it dId not prevent my guests from Georgia from having an EXTREMELY great day out on the water. Besides the table of good eats they also bent a few rods on some catch and release Grouper and Cobia.

Finally, after a long wait, we were able to get the winners of a fishing charter that was donated for the 2023 Citrus County Chamber Of Commerce silent auction event. Randy and his sons did an EXTREMELY great job hauling in this catch for dinner.
