Old Homosassa is a great "Family Destination" where you can definitely "Stay Salty"!! Only 4 days before the Scallop Season opens here on Florida's Nature Coast on Monday, July 1st! Snorkel down in chest or waist deep crystal clear water over pristine grass flats and grab your bounty of these delicious mollusks! It's an experience that you'll never forget and you'll want to do it time and time again! We have some families and guests that have been coming with us for almost 20 years! We still have a few openings for the first two weeks. We'll continue doing scout trips, this week before the season opens and we'll know where the tasty mollusks are hiding and we'll put you on them!! With our fleet of boats available for scalloping we can handle any size group or party and we usually have availability, (even at the last minute).
