Scallop season is coming. Hope all boaters use proper markers and speeds in Homoasassa River this year. While scalloping use a dive flag and use idle speed near others that are swimming. Remain no closer then 300ft from another vessel that is anchored with dive flag up. All swimmers should not go more then 100ft in any direction from your vessel. Most of all please don't let any on your boat, especially young kids, dangle their legs over the boat while moving(most dangerous). Lets keep our waterways safe for all.
