Before the day is through, I want to give an ENORMOUS shoutout to these lovely sisters of Delta Sigma Theta for coming out and Cruz N Eating with us and a very special mahalo to my beautiful cousin for organizing this wonderful group! The love and support I received was cup filling! These ladies truly represent the core values of their organization. Honored to host them and offer custom leis for their tour.

Last Wednesday was a special one for me. Not only did I get to have my man and his childhood friend’s wife on my tour, but I also was reunited with my father whom I have not seen in years and his girlfriend join. It was such a treat to Cruz N Eat with this crew. God is good!

The last tour of the year was with this inspiring family to close out 2023. Not even blindness could stop this wife/mom from enjoying a walking food tour with her family! She was not born this way, unfortunately a pharmaceutical drug cost her her eyesight 6 years ago but you would never know what she endured with her fun loving spirit and positive and witty attitude. Check out her Instagram ! Her and her family were awesome to Cruz N Eat with and certainly closed out our year with some laughs. God bless this family and all of you in this new year!

Cruz N Eat Hawaii, which launched in Kaka‘ako in June 2022, is the only walking food tour in the neighborhood, and it’s a great way to take in the wonderful restaurants the area has to offer.

“I also provide sample dishes from each eatery so we can experience multiple places in one tour,” explains owner Nicky Cruz. “Our signature tour is walking between at least five local eateries to sample their signature dishes, learn about the owners and their stories, and learn some history along the way. We have a brunch tour, food truck tour and happy hour tour coming soon!”
