Learn how to safely and respectfully engage with the community, preserve and protect the culture and environment, and make a positive impact to both you and the island with your visit. Oʻahu, known as "The Gathering Place" is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands and home to Honolulu, the state capital. We hope that this page serves as a valuable resource in helping you learn about what our de

stination has to offer, as well as connecting you with others around the world who are just as passionate about the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu. Most of all, we want this to be about you and your connection with our island. We invite you to share, engage, and converse with us and the rest of the community! We have a few simple guidelines we humbly ask you to follow when engaging with the community. Here are some ideas on the types of content that would be appropriate to share on the Oʻahu page:
-Your fantastic Oʻahu photos, videos, and stories...we absolutely love what we've seen so far! Please keep in mind that we occasionally re-share some of these photos to our Timeline.
- Your favorite places to go and things to do when you're in Oʻahu. Residents, feel free to share your favorite local hangouts.
- Hawaiʻi-themed events that may be happening elsewhere around the world.
- Posts about your upcoming, current, or past vacation in Oʻahu.
- Questions and requests for advice from others for your Oʻahu vacation.
- Content and links to your favorite blogs and other websites relating to Oʻahu as a vacation destination. Content that would not be appropriate on the Oʻahu page include:
- Posts that are commercial in nature (e.g., advertisements)
- Spam.
- Politically-driven content such as posts about elected officials or prospective political candidates. This also includes content/links to any specific political cause or legislation, regardless of point of view.
- Content that does not show proper respect or consideration for others.
- Content that may be considered likely to offend or provoke others.
- Content that promotes anything illegal.
- Content that may violate others' privacy. Although we don't foresee this happening much, we do reserve the right to remove any posts or comments at any time, for any reason, in order to keep this page relevant to and appropriate for the community as a whole. Mahalo (Thank you) for considering these guidelines. We hope you find our Facebook content not only insightful...but fun! Welcome to the community. Aloha!

Aloha Beer Co. believes that a diverse team brings the most flavor! 🍻

They are proud to celebrate the unique backgrounds, cultures, and talents of their amazing staff who make the brewpub a special place and recognize that when everyone feels welcomed, the community grows stronger. Their team is made up of individuals from all walks of life and from around the globe, united by a shared passion for beer and an even deeper love for Hawaiʻi.

Love is a spring that flows freely. Love is without bounds and exists for all.

In Hawaiian culture, aloha represents love, compassion, and connection among people. This saying highlights that love should be shared openly and generously, fostering a sense of community and interconnectedness. By viewing love as boundless, it encourages individuals to express kindness and support without limits, creating a nurturing environment for all.

It's history time! Explore the remarkable story of Victoria Kaʻiulani Kawēkiu i Lunalilo Kalaninuiahilapalapa Cleghorn, an important figure in Hawaiian history.

Known for her strength and compassion towards her people and culture, she was the only child of Princess Miriam Likelike (sister to both King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani).

At her birth on October 16, 1875, Princess Keʻelikōlani gifted Kaʻiulani with an estate in Waikīkī which was named ʻĀinahau. As she grew, she maintained a close bond to her aunt, Liliʻuokalani and was nurtured to become a leader for her people with the anticipation that she could one day rule.

At the age of 15, Kaʻiulani, fluent in Hawaiian, English, French and German was proclaimed Crown Princess of Hawaiʻi by Liliʻuokalani, who had ascended the throne after the death of Kalākaua in 1891.
