Starting with this surprise cake topper 🐶

Our Bride snuck over on the airplane and then gave to us to add to her wedding cake. Her Groom kept saying "if only we could have our dog with us" but flying him to Hawaii wasn't an option. So, she had a replica of their love pup made and we snuck it into the cake.

Favorite little moment: The way he looked at her when he saw an exact mini of his dog on the cake 😍

There are NO RULES.

There are lots of ideas about how a wedding “should” be...

But, they’re all made up 😜

You don’t have to walk down the aisle, you don’t have to wear white, you don’t have to do a proper traditional reception.

You can have a flower girl that’s a dog, a coconut toast instead of a champagne toast, ice cream sandwiches instead of cake.

There literally aren’t any rules 🥳

That First Look Moment 💫

What's a First Look? It's when you set up a special time to see your Bride (or Groom) BEFORE the ceremony. Usually it's just the couple and photographer, no guests, no family, just the two of you.

Why do a First Look? It gets your pre-wedding jitters out of the way and gives you some extra time for photos before the ceremony.

First Looks aren't required, and many couples would prefer to save the "First Look" for the walk down the aisle.

Pro-Tip: If you are more of a traditional bride and have been dreaming of having your Groom see you in your dress for the first time when you walk down the aisle, skip the first look and do it that way.

If tradition isn't your style and you'd prefer to have a private moment alone beforehand (and you love the idea of getting some photos done ahead of time too) do a First Look.

Both options are special 💕 It's really more of a personal preference. Work with your planner to incorporate a First Look into your timeline.

Relaxed Island Chic or Timeless Tuxedos?

Wondering what to wear for your Hawaiian wedding? Lately we've been seeing a lot of traditional classic styles (blue, grey, black suits), paired with brown leather shoes.

But, we have also had several couples go the opposite direction with a more down to earth, island style look - slippers (flip flops), khaki shorts and buttoned down white pressed shirt.

Remember, chic doesn't have to be uncomfortable and stuffy.
