We just received this notice from ALG Vacations:

Important Notice: Enforcement of Mexico Customs Regulations on Electronics
Effective immediately, please be aware of the following guidelines concerning the import of electronic devices for travelers to Mexico. Each traveler is permitted to bring ONE portable computing device (e.g., laptop, notebook, or iPad) without incurring an import fee.

If passengers bring multiple devices, such as a laptop and an iPad, each will be treated as a separate item, which may result in additional fees.

Allowed Items:

• 1 laptop or similar portable computing device (e.g., iPad)
Limited Items:

• Up to 3 cell phones
• 1 GPS
• 2 cameras
• 1 pair of binoculars
• 4 fishing poles
Exceeding these limits may result in customs duties starting at 19% of the item's estimated value, with some cases reporting fees as high as 200%. To avoid these potential charges, please advise your clients traveling to Mexico to adhere to these guidelines.

Viva Mexico Tips of the day:

#1: When getting government issued photo ID's, such as a drivers license or passport, use your full legal name. Just makes sense for an ID.

#2: When applying for airline rewards numbers, use the exact name as on your photo ID's, which hopefully is your full legal name. If the names differ, the airline website might not accept your rewards number.

I just learned something new about Delta Vacations airport transfers with Trafic Tours that I want to share with you. I'm told this just started recently. In Delta Vacations Travel Documents (please read them thoroughly), they have a link called "eTravel Guide" that you should click on. Enter the information it is asking for (destination & booking number), click "Lets Go Travel", then on the next page click "Transfers" and then click on "Arrival" or "Departure" and it will give you information about your pick-up time. Works slick!

It took about an hour and a half to get to the Cancun bus station. Then I took a taxi from there to the ferry dock, the taxi was 200 pesos. Purchased my round trip ferry ticket was 572 pesos (round trip). Now I'm just waiting to board the ferry.
