This weekend is going to be a Big Dill!!! Well, every weekend in Hopkinsville is a big deal, but this weekend is going to be extra juicy! Stop by the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex Hopkinsville on Saturday and Sunday for the Big Dill in the 'Ville Pickleball Tournament. It's free too watch! If pickleball isn't your thing, maybe Nerf Wars, paint parties, karaoke or murder mysteries are! You can't say that Hopkinsville is boring! Plus, you get to see the visitor center staff wear giant pickle costumes and act goofy! Who doesn't want to see that?!

Good evening!
Visit Hopkinsville delivered some sweets to the SWEETEST group ever today! Shout out to the City of Hopkinsville Public Works department!
On Saturday, “Sasha Cake” (our Batterbus) was “sick” and could not be driven. I was devestated. We called our friends at Public Works on Monday for assistance. Talk about some SWEET QUICK MAGIC! Sasha Cake was picked up Monday evening and delivered back to us before 11am yesterday! THAT IS PHENOMENAL! Less than 24 hours and she purrs like a kitten now!
Public Works has never let us down and they’ve never let the City of Hopkinsville down. We’re thankful to have so many amazing folks working hard daily to ensure things run smooth in Hoptown.
Should you run into, or know someone that works there, please be sure to thank them🥰. They totally deserve it.

Happy Monday Hoptown! Oh, yes! Talk about loving our jobs and doing ANYTHING to promote our amazing city!
This is a Big “Dill” y’all. March 8th-9th, 2025 it’s going down in Hopkinsville, KY!
This will be the FIRST TIME the Southern Pickleball Association has held a tournament in KENTUCKY! What an honor to have them in the “sweetest lil place on earth”, HOPKINSVILLE!
Grab your gear, get your teams together and show me and Ginnie how it’s done! Obviously, we are not Pickleball perfect or have the concept as to how the game is played! We need you!
Another SWEET fact, SPA will donate $10.00 per player to our local organization, Grace and Mercy! How “SWEET” is that!

I had the honor of attending the 29th Annual African American Heritage breakfast hosted by The Modernette Civic Club Inc. of Hopkinsville, KY this morning. It was a beautiful morning, filled with a message of love, and hope from MSU Professor, Dr. Brian Clardy.
