Our 2024 tour season has wrapped up! Thank you to everyone who joined us—we look forward to welcoming you back when tours resume on May 7th, 2025.

In the meantime, the Landing Lounge Café will remain open throughout the off-season. We'll be taking a short break from November 1st to November 15th, then reopening with hours Wednesday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A special thanks to the wonderful people of Horicon! We hear so many compliments from visitors about the warmth and cleanliness of our town. This is something we can all be proud of!

Blue Heron Landing Tour Schedule Update

We’ve wrapped up the Sunset Cruise for the season, and the last birding tour took place on September 15th. The final Mud Boat Adventure tour will be on September 20th.

As we transition into fall, we’re switching to our Autumn Sites Tour schedule.

Autumn Sites Tours will run:
Wednesday – Friday: Tours depart at 11 AM and 1 PM.
Saturday & Sunday: Tours depart at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 1 PM.

Note: For Sundays, September 22nd and 29th, our reservation system is set for hourly departures from 9 AM to 3 PM. We’re testing this new schedule, and if it benefits our guests, it may become a permanent option.

🌿 Blue Heron Landing: Mid-Season Update 🌿

We're halfway through our touring season, and the excitement continues! We've had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people from across the country and around the world. For those of us lucky enough to live near the Horicon Marsh, it's easy to take its beauty and history for granted. But visitors travel far and wide to experience the charm and heritage that our city of Horicon has to offer.

Did you know? The Horicon Marsh is the second-largest cattail marsh in the world, the largest in the United States, and a designated Wetland of International Importance. We're also proud to receive so many compliments on how clean and friendly our town is—something we can all take pride in.

Every day on the Horicon Marsh brings something new, and no two tours are the same. Join us for our one-hour sightseeing tours, departing daily at 11 AM and 1 PM, Wednesday through Saturday. On Sunday mornings, we offer a two-hour Birding Tour at 9 AM and a one-hour sightseeing tour at 1 PM.
