Captain JD Nobles had an early morning fishing trip with football fathers and sons. Former Jaguar player Todd Fordham, Former FSU Wide Receiver Matt Frier, Camden Frier, FSU roster, Former FSU player Travis Sherman, and high school players/college prospects Cade Frier and Corbin Fordham.

Jimmy Jam of St. Augustine hosted a fundraiser for the Reynolds family. Mark and Angie Cooksey of St. Augustine, were the winners of a half day charter and 2 night stay with East Coast West Coast Charters in Horseshoe Beach.

They had an awesome day catching redfish. Double headers one right after the other.

We had a great time catching up and reminiscing about old friends and St. Augustine.

Supporters and Friends of Horseshoe Beach,

The Shoe Event Committee will be hosting its 3rd Annual Hooked on Horseshoe Fishing Tournament on Saturday March 23rd
This fundraiser will support a variety of worthwhile programs and projects, mainly restoring our Christmas lights that were damaged in Hurricane Adalia.

Currently we are in need of raffle prizes and items to place in our captains’ bags. If you have an item you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.

What a fun filled football fishing trip this weekend, with two “Live Oak” hometown boys. Gantt Crouch former Florida Gator player and Matt Frier former FSU Seminole player on the same boat. They replayed every catch and tackle in their careers while Captain JD was wearing their arms out catching redfish and it didn’t stop there. After fishing we ate some local oysters and cooked some deer meat and told more stories.

Great times with great friends.

Sign up for a great weekend of fishing activities. Captain’s meeting/dinner, March 22nd with Calcutta. This year we will be adding vendors that represent the fishing community to both events.

We would love to see some of our angler friends from the east coast of Florida through the Carolinas come join this event.
