Grab your bike and go for a ride on the Iron Mountain Trail.
Some of the best-groomed mountain bike trails can be found at Iron Mountain on the south shore of DeGray Lake just outside of Arkadelphia. With over 24-miles to cover, you would be hard pressed to find better riding in this part of the state. Fairly smooth with a few short technical sections thrown in, these are some of the best flow trails in the state of Arkansas. The orange and blue loops are wide-open and meander along the hillsides on the shores of DeGray Lake. And the newly built green and yellow routes on the south side of Skyline Drive add some exhilarating descents that are well worth the somewhat strenuous climbs to get up top. Trail Map:

The Ouachita Trail is an east-west corridor which extends from Pinnacle Mountain State Park near Little Rock to Talimena State Park near Talihina, Oklahoma. This mountain trail offers the hiker a wide range of opportunities from scenic vistas, upland hardwood and pine forests to clear streams, high ridges and wide valleys. The portion of the trail from the Highway 88 crossing, east for approximately 110 miles is open for mountain biking and is an International Mountain Bicycling Association Epic Trail.
