Good morning, Fayette County!
We need your help! As the winter storm approaches, we ask that you please utilize our page, Nixle notifications, or our FayCoSo App for updates regarding any road closures or snow emergency information, if possible. We would like to keep our phone lines open for those who may need law enforcement/EMS/fire department services. We will do our very best to keep everyone updated as often as possible as weather conditions change.
This is not to discourage anyone from calling us if they need us, we are simply trying to provide everyone with other ways of getting up to date information quickly while allowing our Dispatchers to be as efficient as possible.
Please be safe over the next couple of days. Allow yourself extra time to travel, give the snow plow drivers plenty of room as they try to clear the roadways for us, and be courteous to one another as we all try to navigate the storm.
