🏎️🏁 The Race of Gentlemen will be held THIS WEEKEND: October 4-6. It is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together the finest vintage vehicles and their fearless drivers for a thrilling display of speed, skill, and style.

Feel the rumble of the engines and the excitement in the air as participants push their classic machines to the limit on the sandy shores of the Wildwood beach. Marvel at the meticulously restored vehicles, chat with the passionate owners, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of this unique gathering. Race times are tide dependent and are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. Kook Appreciation Post ⬇
Here are some fun facts about this fine gentleman:

😆Mr. Kook is a species from Australia called a Laughing Kookaburra.
👴He will be 27 years old in November! This is geriatric for kookaburras and he needs special care from his zookeepers.
🏠He has been at the zoo since 2012!
🌞He spends most days (weather permitting) in the habitat next to our new kookaburra pair. He can often be seen socializing with them. Each day at closing, he hops into his crate and is transported to an off-exhibit, temperature-controlled building.
👇When you are looking for Mr. Kook, check out the perching close to the ground. He prefers these now over the high perches.
