After several weeks of distractions, I've been able to spend some time in the studio. Managed to pick all the bits that will go inside all of these fantastic tins and pill boxes. Antique lace pieces will be placed as the background to them all. Stay tuned.

Hello! It has been a few weeks since our last live... I apologies for the radio silence. It has been hectic, especially this week with Hurricane Beryl. We are safe and our house didn't sustain any damage, but we lost a couple of trees (one on the front fence), our whole back fence, and had lots of large tree branches fall. Our electricity just cane back on yesterday morning. Internet is still down, though. All that to say, we are still cleaning up and making repairs and I don't think we'll be having a live tonight 😫.

My heart & prayers go out to those who suffered major damage and are still struggling with no electricity. ❤️

Just completed these beauties. Made using found butterfly & moth wings that had fulfilled their life span. They include vintage music sheet and words from vintage dictionaries, thesaurus, and translation books. Sandwiched between glass, with vintage brass pieces soldered to the edge of the bezels. Each one with complimentary bead work in the chain.

Today the pattern was drawn, the glass was cut, broke wrong twice, finally got it right, grind the glass, then dry it off. Tomorrow I will work on putting the pieces together.
