Charlotte’s Story
Every flight, train, ferry, or car ride has brought adventure after adventure. I have ridden camels and camped in the Sahara Desert, ran with the bulls and walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, hiked through Cinque Terre, wine tasted in Tuscany, boated off the Amalfi Coast, strolled around Lake Como, toured ancient Rome and Athens, island hopped and 4-wheeled through Greece, visited Port wine vineyards in Portugal, sailed through Croatia, bungee jumped and canyoned in Switzerland, biked through Amsterdam, skied in Austria, beached on the French Riviera, surfed the Basque Country, visited Christmas markets in Germany and Belgium, road-tripped through Scotland, celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, toured concentration camps in Poland, swam in bathhouses in Budapest, and learned personal family history in Czech Republic. Plus, I have trekked through most of Central and South America, recently hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, sailing through the fjords of Norway, mountaineering in Antarctica, expedition yachting in the Sea of Cortez, cycling through vineyards in Napa, exploring the land down under in Australia, and trekking through some of the USA’s greatest National Parks. I live to see the world and constantly learn, explore, and grow through exposure to different cultures, people, wildlife, food, and heart-pumping adventures.
"Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
