Happy new year from ROPE- with a throwback to our Fall Semester Thanksgiving trip to the Charon’s Garden Wilderness! We’re so grateful to be able to provide students access to the outdoors and promote an inclusive outdoor community at Rice.

Our Story

ROPE is an outdoor adventure program and service of the Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center. We work to provide the Rice University community opportunities to explore the outdoors, relax, and disconnect from our busy lives. The Outdoor Adventure Center provides outdoor gear rental services to members of our facility. ROPE Outdoor Adventure Trips are available to all members of the Rice University Community.
