The Spring Branch Management District was created by the Texas Legislature in 2003 to provide supplemental programs and public services related to mobility, safety, urban design, and economic development. We enhance commerce, public safety, public health, commercial corridor upkeep and other qualities of life in the District. Today, the district is taking action on many fronts to create a safer, cleaner, and more prosperous community for those who live and work here.

Kids' Meals will use the gift toward its new campus, a 50,000-square-foot facility in Spring Branch at 8790 Hammerly Blvd.

At its annual Harvest Luncheon last week, Kids’ Meals, a a nonprofit combatting childhood food insecurity and hunger, received a huge boost: a $3 million gift from ExxonMobil. The gift makes a milestone for the organization.

Harris County Commissioners Court recently created the Safe School Commission to advise Commissioners Court on safety and wellness in K-12 schools across Harris County. The commission will work to study, compile and recommend measures that Commissioners Court can take to support safety strategies at schools across Harris County. The Commission will consist of 7 members, including 2 high school students. To be eligible, students must be enrolled at a high school in Harris County. Joining the Safe School Commission is a great opportunity for high school students to make their voice heard and make a difference in their school community. Our Story

The Spring Branch Management District was created by the Texas Legislature in 2005 to provide supplemental programs and public services related to mobility, safety, urban design, and economic development. The creation of the District was in response to petition of affected property owners. The programs and services provided by the Spring Branch Management District are funded through an assessment on commercial property. Today, the district is taking action on many fronts to create a safer, cleaner, and more prosperous community for those who live and work here.
